day 4

i don't take one bus route all the time. but when i do. i always think this car is ridiculous. it looks like the yard it part of jurassic park. it's kinda cool. other than this car tho it is a really boring parking space.

yesterday i got done work early and was able to go get coffee for the roomies at work and then take one of cars! yay! went to joannes, got scissors, thread, needles. operation sweater skirt is in affect for this weekend for myself. hopefully i finish it. this skirt is goign to take longer then i think i bet.

So, today was the first time I made it to your blog. i LOVE the star photo for your overall "exhibit M" blog -- so gorgeous. what is the deal with the 101 things? Are you keeping track of them on this blog? Is the skirt-making one of them? Sorry for being daft...but just trying to get caught up. Keep the photos coming, you've got some beauties here. And thanks for following the 52 New Things -- tomorrow I try snowboarding; fingers crossed that I won't break anything!

hi trish!
thanks. i wish it were my photo but it's not. i have no idea who it belongs to.

the 101 things deal is something i stole from tina shantz. it's like your 52 new things list, but 101 things and 1001 days to do them. i'm about half way done with my list and i'll post it soon. i just don't want to fill out the whole thing until i know what i'm doing in september.

the skirt making thing is part of my 101 things list, as is the 365 day picture project. other things on the list are skydiving (again), bungee jumping, read 50 new books, make 60 new recipes and post them and write them in my own recipe book, eat raw for 2 weeks, and other random stuff and goals or thing i want to accomplish.

i hope snowboarding went well. i tried snowboarding for a season. i was not very good. i prefer skiing. both downhill and telemark. i wish i could look cool on a snowboard though.

Thanks for the explanation. Your list sounds fabulous, as does the food you cooked up this weekend! My snowboarding lesson got postponed to Thursday evening, so I went ice skating instead (not new, but a good motivator for me to get going on my ice skating new things -- learning a single jump and a single-foot spin). i'll keep popping by your blog from time and tome -- great stuff!
